raising your voice: DOs and DON'Ts

1) you should only yell if the person you are talking to has hearing impairment.
2) you should not yell at you mother (or actually anyone for that matter).

i don't actually have a list. but there exist a social contract. people of two different party have to agree to the contract for it to happen. raising your voice, apparently, breach this contract. this is due to:-

1) third party(s) is involved. this third party are normally not interested at all, but due to the yelling and screaming, the third party is then obliged to the social contract he/she is not prepared for. and that's a burden.
2) yelling/screaming invades others privacy.
3)it's only fun if you're on a rollercoaster (or other mindblowing rides at any theme park.ferris wheel does not count).
