it's not just a game

we played an oil pricing game the other day
company A and company B have to put their prices for per barrel of oil to sell to country C.
the trick is that, company with lower oil price gain more profit that the country that sell with a higher price.
but if the two companies' oil price are the same, they get the same profit, the higher the price quoted by both country, the more both profit.

i had this thought since the beginning of the game,
"why would you both gain profit while another party suffer?"
you quote a very high price and the people of country C which faces disasters loss their money for the sake of survival.
that's so unfair.

it's not about negotiating for your own gain.

it's not a game. it's not just a game.

the world is not a playground.
