teringat sewaktu cuti pertengahan tahun. kami ke tabung haji untuk menyimpan cek emak. kami pun ambil kesempatan tanya pegawai bank;

irr: kak, kalau nak transfer duit dari account overseas ke tabung haji macam mana eh?

kakak teller: akak tak sure lah dik.sekejap akak panggil manager eh.

manager bank: ye boleh saya bantu?
irr: kalau nak transfer duit dari account overseas ke tabung haji macam mana eh? ada swift code tabung haji eh?
manager bank: tak boleh lah. kena tanya bank lah kalau nak transfer duit.

irr: ni bukan bank ke?

manager bank: kita bukan bank, kita tabung. tabung haji

english with 2 ikhlas were supposed to be at 10.30 to 11.50 but instead all form 1, 2 and 4 students have to go to the hall for a talk on smart money project by perbadanan insurans deposit malaysia (PIDM)

after the talk has just finished...

A: (shouting from the ground floor) miss irrina! miss irrina!

miss I: (half yelling from the second floor) yes amzar?

A: ada spelling kan teacher? (walking faster and faster towards the stairs)

miss I: we won't be having spelling, English time has just finished.
A: alaaaaa... takde lah spelling hari birthday saya ni.

miss I: (monologue) awwwww so sweet nak spelling kan hari ni

magnet works best when there's metal

i'm currently undergoing my teaching practice at SMK Hulu Kelang, Ampang, Selangor. A small school yet very lively. And being a female teacher is that those 14-year-olds always grin at you hoping that they'll be your favourite. It's cute but I do think i got to be more serious with them. Happy happy teaching to me.
